About Adam Kasti
A student portfolio built for graduate admissions and internship opportunities
I am a University of Richmond student focused on leadership studies, political science, and history, with an active music practice. This site brings my work together in a clear, review-friendly format—research highlights, writing samples, performances, and my résumé.
My focus
Leadership, policy, history, and music—connected by clear communication
My academic work centers on how institutions make decisions, how communities respond to change, and how leadership can be practiced with integrity and evidence.
Across coursework and independent projects, I prioritize close reading, careful research design, and writing that is structured for busy reviewers. I am especially interested in the intersection of political behavior, public policy, and historical context—how ideas move from theory to practice, and how outcomes can be evaluated.
I aim to produce work that is analytically rigorous, ethically grounded, and easy to assess—whether you are reading as an admissions committee member or a hiring manager.

Outside the classroom, music has been a consistent part of my development. Performance and ensemble work have strengthened my discipline, listening, and collaboration—skills that carry directly into research and professional settings.
